Everest Panorama Trekking

8 Days

3748 M

Magnificent mountain peaks, warm Sherpa hospitality, and feelings of accomplishment await the adventurer exploring the Everest area. The area offers a variety of routes, which can be tailored to suit your schedule. Your adventure can last anywhere from a week up to a month. The journey begins in the fertile valleys of Solu. The trekker traverses deep canyons and tall ridges for the first week, ascending a total of 9000m (the height of Everest itself). Although strenuous, the acclimatization gained, as well as lasting images of terraced fields, rhododendron forests, and tumbling gorges, validates the effort. Many travelers forego these valleys and fly directly into Lukla, where they wander through Kumbu Himal, the shadow of Everest. Spectacular peaks dwarf the ancient Buddhist monasteries along the trail, transporting the trekker into a timeless world captured by these remote mountain slopes. The beauty awakens the explorer in everyone; many trekkers delve into side trips to the picturesque waters and hauntingly gray glaciers of Gokyo. Others conquer Ris (mini peaks over 5000m), which boast spectacular vistas of Mt. Everest. If you allow the time to ascend at your own pace this trek is open to the moderately fit. Best time for trekking: early October to mid-November, and late March to late April. It is also possible to trek in winter but be prepared for the cold.

Namche is the place from where you can have the best views of the Everest and surroundings.
